SCADAPack 47x is the next generation of Smart RTUs. SCADAPack™ 47x Smart RTUs combine the features/benefits of existing SCADAPack RTUs into a solution with a familiar package and pricing structure.SCADAPack RTUs are used in remote applications for process monitoring, control and data communication. RTUs employ industry-standard communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus for communication with other devices and SCADA Host software. SCADAPack 470 and 474 are designed for the harsh conditions associated with remote sites in applications such as Water and Wastewater (WWW) or Oil and Gas (O&G). SCADAPack Smart RTUs can be used to transport field data through low bandwidth and/or non-permanent communication links such as cellular, PSTN, and radio.
