Does anyone know where the GeoSCADA Splashscreen resides? I'd like to modify it or remove it to reduce load time.
I read an older article where you could modify the layout.xsl file under C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\WWW\XSL and point to the new PNG file. I did this and the old Splash Screen appears.
Thanks.

I think you're talking about different things here.
The XSL changes impacted on WebX. Not ViewX.
But then you're mentioning GeoSCADA splashscreen, which I reckon you mean the ViewX splashscreen. Not at all related to the XSL file.
There is no way that I'm aware of to safely modify the splash screen. It's a resource associated with a DLL as I understand it. So removing it will likely result in ViewX just crashing at startup.

I realllly doubt if you could remove the splash screen it would significantly reduce the load time.
ViewX already pre-loads 'something' on system startup.

You are right Jesse. Removing the splash screen would not speed loading ViewX, it shows the splash while modules are being loaded in the background.
