Hi everybody!,
I need help with the following situation, a few days ago the IT personnel was doing a back up on the main server, but for any reason, the main server changed to hot standby mode and the other one became the main server. When the operations personnel noticed the role change, they manually return the servers to their default configuration, but the hot standby scada server goes off after trying to syncronize with the main server. We tried starting every server as stand alone just disconnecting the LAN cable, and ther start normally, when we reconnect the LAN cable, the hot standby server tries to syncronize but after a few minutes it goes off and can't start. Any suggestion??

How did they do the backup?
It sounds like they possibly stopped the server (if virtualised, a snapshot can result in the server stopping execution for a while)
You’ll need to provide logs for any meaningful analysis.
However in this situation you should initially contact your local official Schneider Tech Support office. They are best situated to help with time critical issues like this.
