Analog control method formatted number

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to add formatting to an analog number entry when the built in Control Method is called by clicking on a point in a mimic.

IE: I use the same units for flow across the entire system, and typically the flow setpoint is 5-6 digits, but I'm getting complaints that certain setpoints need to be 7 digits and the potential for incorrectly entering the setpoint and dropping a digit is high. Confirm action is enabled, but for analogs, the confirmation prompt also lacks formatting. Is it possible when entering a number setpoint to get it formatted so instead of 1234567, it would be 1,234,567? I'm currently running build 85.8469 if that helps, or if a new version has the solution I'm looking for.

I don't see a way to change it and I am running 85.8544.

If you really have to put a solution in place, it would be some work but you could write your own script for control displaying your own form. I am not sure you could get the entry formatted with commas, but I am sure you can format the value for your own conformation with comas. So you don't have to write a script for every point you could make a embedded mimic that has parameters that will allow you to drag and drop the point onto it to populate the relevant information you are using. your script can read attributes from an object on the mimic so you can set the point's full name from a parameter and then read the name from where it is on the object and use that name in your form.
