Hi everyone.
Just a question on Energy Hub device credits and their subscription term.
Here’s the scenario.
There is a recently deployed Energy Hub site with 6 devices on a 1-year term.
7 months after deployment, they want to add another device? Can we add it on?
The original 6 devices will have 5 months left on their term, while the new meter will be fresh with 12 months.
Will this be the case? Or do we have to wait for the original 6 devices to expire before we can add new devices so that their term start at the same time?
Looking forward to have this clarified. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Adrian

Hi Adrian - sorry for the late reply. Yes it is possible. There is no technical limitation preventing them to expand and manage 2 renewal terms.
My suggestion above is just a cleaner solution to ease the management of renewals, but if they are OK to manage the different renewal timelines, then they are welcome to expand their system by ordering the additional subscription credits.

Hi there! The simplest and cleanest solution would be to wait until the subscription renewal date and purchase a renewal for the total quantity of devices (7 in your case).

Thanks Matthew. Your suggestion does seem to be the easiest way to do it. However, if the customer situation (like a new tenant will start) really needs to add the new meter and can't wait for the renewal dates of the original 6 meters, is it still possible to add the new meter and have 2 renewal dates to monitor? Or is it impossible to add another meter until the renewal of the original 6 meters? Thanks!
