Cannot access Energy View through iOS app. Manual is different to interface.

Hi team,

 

First time poster 😀.

 

Not sure what I am doing wrong, however I am unable to access the Energy View through the iOS app. I have followed the manual on EEH Help, however this differs to the user interface I see.

 

1. The instruction manual (https://www.se.com/us/en/download/document/7EN02-0470/) attached, page 8. "The Energy Hub mobile app has two modes: Site manager and Energy Hub. The Energy Hub user role determines the mode a user is in. Users with a Site manager role are in Site manager mode, users with other roles are in Energy Hub mode."

 

- However when I go to the user account settings on desktop EEH, there is no such user type. In "Setup/Users/Manage Users" in EEH I see the following options for users.

I am the Admin for the Organisation, have access to everything, I created the account, activated the subscription last month.

 

I have created a test user account, tried assigning different roles, and still unable to view "Energy" in the iOS app. Any suggestions? Assistance?

 

For such a significant outlay, I am slightly disappointed with the Panel Servers I have purchased, as well as the subscription to EEH. For the amount spent, the documentation should align.

 

On a side note, I am throughly disappointed in the Panel Server Advanced. It can store 3yrs of data, yet there is no easy way to view the data, unless you export it to an Excel file, then use a macro (built by Schneider) to make sense of the data, or subscribe to EEH to make sense of the data. When I was looking for solutions to monitoring energy use, I was captured by the brochures and information regarding the Panel Server Advanced, the ability to capture and view 3yrs of data through the Panel Server Webpage. However the reality is, the Webpages provided through the Panel Server Advanced are next to useless (ie Main Incomer does not even show on the trending page).

 

Hopefully each firmware update improves the offering, and each update to EEH adds to the product.

Hi there, sorry for the delayed response.  The energy dashboards in the mobile app are currently only available in BETA.  These will be made availalbe commercially on a broader basis later in the year.
