Set extra DCOM Settings when TAC Vista Server and Remote Work Station in Workgroup.

Environment

TAC Vista Server

Remote Workstation

Cause

Cannot access TAC Vista Server from Remote Workstation, even though DCOM's set properly (in Workgroup).

Resolution

When using Remote Workstation and TAC Vista Server in same Workgroup and completing the DCOM settings based on the TAC Vista Installation Manual (04-00001-xx) and you still cannot access the TAC Vista Server PC, try the settings in the attached the document. Click here to download.
