Issue
Continuum installer throws a Error 1904, dll failed to register error during the installation process.
Environment
- Continuum
- Error 1904
- Failed to Write to Registry.
Cause
Virus protection is preventing the Continuum install from writing a .dll to the registry.
Resolution
- Uninstall Continuum completely.
- Reinstall Continuum with all malware protection software disabled and using a Local Administrator user account.
- Check the compatibility matrix to ensure that the Windows OS you are using is compatible with the Cyberstation version
