http command using cmd file

I have network devices that are powered with Back-UPS ES 650G2. The UPS supports my internal network. I would like commands to be executed via http when power is restored. e.g. "http://10.10.10.32/relay/off". How do I set the command in the cmd file of the UPS so that on a "No longer on battery" event I get that command or a series of commands executed.

The UPS can't execute command files. You could use PowerChute Serial Shutdown software for this purpose. On the Event Configuration page you can configure execution of a command file if the 'No Longer on Battery' event occurs. I guess that in command file you could use 'curl' to execute your http command(s).

Keep in mind that PowerChute Serial Shutdown will safely shutdown the connected server (based on options configured in Shutdown Settings page). If your server is down PowerChute Serial Shutdown of course will not detect that power is restored. And the command file will not be executed. You could enable 'wake on AC' in your BIOS so your server will automatically boot up again when power is restored. This will also start PowerChute Serial Shutdown service. In the Event Configuration page you probably want to enable the same command file for the 'Monitoring Started' event. This event occurs after PowerChute Serial Shutdown has started up an starts monitoring the UPS.

Hope this helps. Further Questions just ask.

Thank you @fredkm ! That was exactly that I needed! Made it and tested it. Works great.
