Torren,
What is the exact model number of your ES 750? To find it, you will need to flip over the UPS and locate the small white barcode sticker.
Going back to your problem, it seems that your UPS is not detecting a good input power source. Have you having power problems lately? When you turned on the unit by pressing the On button, you have activated the UPS to run using the internal battery. This would cause the UPS to turn on and run on battery only if it cannot detect a good input power source or the unit is unplugged.'
Do you have any APC software installed on a computer? We can try to adjust the sensitivity or transfer points easily using the software. If you don't have the APC PowerChute Personal Edition loaded on your PC, we can try to manually do it.
