Hello, I need a little help. I just bought a BX900R & am trying to correctly connect the battery pack. When I slipped it out of its case, the only wire not connected is the short red wire. The only place to attach it is to the terminal farthest from the case. When I tried to attach it, it sparked. Am I trying to connect to the wrong terminal? The diagrams on the instruction sheet are no help at all, lol. Thanks
PamR

Hi Pam,
It sounds like you are trying to connect the battery properly. Sometimes upon first connection there can be a small spark that occurs when first connected. The unit should not be constantly sparking.
If it had a single spark, and then stopped I would advise you to leave the battery connected, and power the unit on. The unit should show the battery as good. (The red led will not be lit on the case).
