br1000 br1500 option to keep pc windows based on remaining battery percentage / runtime
I own two of br1000g and use each of it with my windows pc/Mac . I want to keep both of machines as awake as possible in case of power outage
in Mac there are convenient options in system settings to keep it as much as awake to last min . either by remaining battery or runtime . I usually configure with runtime of 1 min ( refer screenshot Mac)
in windows pc after installing pcns (power chute network shutdown) . there is a similar option to configure based on runtime . but it is asking to configure at least 5 mins (300 seconds) . which is not very useful . when I try to enter values Lower than 300 seconds the form doesn't accept that and throws validation error ( refer screenshot pc). I stay in India where outages are short and frequent . so extra mins will really be handy to run long tasks ( whose progress will be lost in case of shutdown).. I can add external battery pack . but is there a turnaround/fix in windows . I read in some threads Apcupsd will allow this feature . but I couldnot make it work as during installing process it say it is unable to install usb driver . any help appreciated

You can use the Windows Power Options. See FAQ FA159653 "Configuring Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, & 11 Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, & 2022 to safely shutdown without using APC's PowerChute software."
