UTS10BI grounding

Reading through the manual they do not specifically discuss how the unit is grounded or if it needs to be grounded to a grounding rod or to the home breaker panel. I see that the box has several locations where it grounds its components to the metal UTS shell but I do not see locations to actually take a ground from the box to a grounding rod. The schematics show at the top of the box an out that says grounding rod but there are no instructions as to if this is the appropriate place to land a ground. Is this location in the upper right of the diagram where you land the ground for the L14-30 plug from the generator (that is suppose to be grounded)?

Questions:
Do I need to run any other wires besides the wip that contains the 20 wires for power and neutral? I would find it weird that they didn't include any grounding wire in the wip if it was required.

Where do I put the new required L14-40 neutral as there is no clear location in the instructions or visibly in the system for specifically adding a ground wire from the plug.

The UTS requires no additional wiring than is present in the wiring harness. also the attached document for the hardwiring option that was never actually released might at least help with the wiring of the external L14-30 plug connection.
