I have a Smart-UPS 1500 (Firmware UPS 15.0 (ID18)) with AP9631 (Firmware v7,0.8), battery RBC7
and a Smart-UPS 750 (Firmware UPS 15.0 (ID18)) with AP9630 (Firmware v7,0.8), battery RBC48
The SMT750i shows on its display under the About menu:
Battery Install Date: Dec-2021 (as correctly entered on the day of replacement)
Replace Battery by: Sep-2025
The replacement date for the ST750i seems plausible.
The SMT1500i shows on its display under the About menu:
Battery Install Date: Aug-2020 (as correctly entered on the day of replacement)
Replace Battery by: Oct-2015
The replacement date for the ST1500i cannot be correct.
What is happening here?
May I correct this? How?

In my experience, resetting the UPS to defaults did not interfere with the operation of the UPS.

Ok, just changing the Month of the battery replacement is not enough to trigger a correct calculation. I had to change the year, and then changed it back, to get the UPS to properly calculate the date.

The proposed procedure uses Reset to Factory Defaults. Does this procedure work without interrupting running load, or would I need to shut down the load?

I have run the Reset to Factory Defaults procedure as described in the referenced document. Alas, the projected date for battery change is still the same wrong date. I also restarted the NMC and set the last Battery replacement date newly, but also that did not help.
