If the hardware is still under warranty I recommend you contact APC Technical Support for a RMA.
Have ready the following information such as serial number, purchase receipt, and brief description of the problem / active fault / error code.
If the hardware is (NOT) in warranty than you may consider completing this action item and report back the results:
Brain Dead: Follow the brain dead reset procedure as outlined for the SMT Series UPS.
