Hi Bill: hope you are fine.
This enquire is to you: My wife´s MacMini after the latest firmware doesn´t like the transfer time of her SMX1000 and the computer turn itself off inmediately so I bought a SRT1500RMXLA to replace it been a dual conversion and since the SMX1000 attached external battery pack SMX48 uses the same blue connector I assumed it was compatible with the SRT series.
Unfortunately it was not recognized by the SRT UPS. Did you changed something on the SRT series external battery pack sensing circuit ?
Any tip will be greatly accepted. By the way I need a SRT1500RMXLA front bezel so which is it´s part number to order it
Regards

You can not connect a SMX Extended Battery Pack to a SRT UPS. The SMX uses a simple resistor network to determine the number of external battery packs.
The SRT incorporates a serialized micro chip to determine the same. The front cover bezel is part number: OM-77876
