How long can AVR Trim run safely?
Sothe utility voltage in my country is 230-240V at nominal, but in myarea it goes quite high (around 265V) at night in the colder months as not many people switch on their Aircon at that time.
The PSU in my PC is rated for 100-240V input and it's said that +10% margin for input VAC is usually built in for most PSUs, meaning up to 264V.
So I've set the high transfer point of my Smart-UPS SUA1500I-IND to kick in at 263 VAC.
My utility voltage may remain at those elevated levels for several hours every night & into the early morning hours. So I'm wondering if AVR Trim being active for that long every day is going to result in any problem for my UPS?
If it helps, it's going to be pretty rare for the equipment connected to the UPS to be under any heavy load during those hours.
