My APC BX1500M is getting events, up to 4-5 now. but the software is useless for me. WHen I open the application, everything under Performance summary is showing zeros. Meanwhile my actual UPS is showing events. The usb cable between them is connected. How else do I make this work?

Hi,
Switch the UPS to the battery and wait for 5 to 10 seconds. You can switch the UPS to the battery by cutting power to the outlet the UPS is plugged into or by unplugging the UPS from the outlet. You should see a notification in the lower right of your computer screen stating the UPS is running on battery output. The open PowerChute and verify under current status the UPS is reporting running on battery. Finally, switch the UPS back to AC and check both the current status and performance to verify the UPS is now running on AC and the software recorded the event.
