I have a problem with a SUA750XL with an extra battery option.
The unit is "new" to me but has been in use for a few years I guess.
As far as I can tell it will work on battery when it is turned on but external power will not reach the unit (=Power is never indicated).
I notice that the Overload Protector button in the rear is out and cannot be reset to "in" position.
Does anyone have an idea how to get the UPS working? Do I need a new "button" and if so where do I get one?
This is a private project so I would very much like to have the thing working without spending a fortune so ideas are really appreciated.

well i would assume you tried multiple outlets? also, do you see a green sensitivity LED illuminated when you have the UPS connected to a known good outlet? there is a little white button next to the LED that you can push to see if the LED comes on. that would indicate the UPS sees incoming power.

how far out is the overload protector sticking out? i believe this is for the output and not the input so it should not prevent incoming power from reaching the unit, only output power.
it is normal for the button to be sticking out about 1/4" and be a little "loose" if you touch it. if it is actually tripped, it should be out 1 1/4"

Thank you.
It sticks out some 5-6 mm (=approx 1/4 inch) so it should be OK then.
I still have to figure out why my input 220V is not indicated. All I see is that it runs on battery and that the battery is low.
Guess I have to open the box and try to follow the leads to see if I get some bright ideas.
