ES750 master control failure?

I just bought a ES750 and the master control seem not working
I enable the master control, I see the "green light" on it
and try all low, middle and high setting,
I put PS3 and desktop pc to the "master" control, but the device won't turn on at the when my computer is on.

the outlet work if I disable the master control.
anyone could think a reason?

I am having the same exact problem and I have already tried all three of the threshold settings. My computer is plugged into the master control outlet for battery backup and my printer is plugged into the surge only master controlled outlet. No power is available to the printer with any threshold setting when my computer is turned on and the master control option is on. I have to turn the master control option off to get power to my printer.
