ES 750 vs. Vista

I just purchased a new HP computer and also bought a new ES 750 backup. When I loaded the CD to install the software it said that it could not. I forget the actual verbage. It is the same message that I would get when I tried to load non-vista software into the computer. The box says that it will work with Vista. Is this a recognised problem? Should I download a patch? Is there one available?
I value the backup since it has saved my butt a few times when we have had a brown out, etc.

If you go to the APC website you'll be able to download the newest version of powerchute personal edition which is compatible with Vista.
