Continuous beep and no LED
I used a vacuum cleaner on an apc back 600 unit. It apparently drew too much power and the unit shut down. When I press the power button to turn it on I can hear an audible click, the power led flashes green a few times then goes off and a solid tone is heard. Is there a way to fix this?

Can you please provide the exact model and serial number of the unit ? To find your UPS model and serial number, you need to locate a white bar-code sticker on your UPS. This can be found behind or on the bottom, back, or under the front cover of your UPS.
We need this information to check if your model has a circuit breaker behind the unit that pops out when the unit is in state of overload. To reset it you need to press the circuit breaker back in.
