Hello,
I just bought an APC BX750MI and when I start the device, the LEDs start flashing 4x every 30 seconds, meaning that the device is running in on-battery mode. I haven't found the way to switch to on-line mode and the user manual does not help.
Thanks for your help.

If the unit has been sitting on the shelf for a long time before you purchased it. You’ll need to apply AC Mains and let the unit recharge the cells for at least 16 hours.
The unit will begin recharging the cells immediately once AC Mains is applied even if the power button is on / off.
NOTE: The unit will remain in battery only mode if the AVR circuit has engaged. Meaning the line voltage is outside of the safe working range of the AVR system. Thus it is on battery only mode.
Connect APC Power Chute software to view what the incoming line voltage is. If your area is 240 VAC and you see voltage above / below the defined level of the AVR this is one reason the UPS is on battery only mode.
If the line voltage is distorted (dirty power) which is high THD or frequency drift NOT 50 Hz this too will cause the unit to remain in battery only mode.
Report back what you see as the active faults / errors in the Power Chute Software. Please indicate the current battery voltage, state of charge, line voltage, output voltage, and AVR status.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I made sure that the unit was fully recharged and it seems to have solved the problem.
I ran the software which confirmed the 100% charge of the battery. The input voltage is between 237 and 241 VAC which is within the defined limits and the battery voltage is 13.6 VDC. No errors were reported by the system test and the device is working normally.
My problem is solved. Thanks again for the help.
