Hello, since last 2 days the UPS is not getting fully charged even when leaving connected to power whole night. There is continuous humming sound which comes when battery is charging but the battery is getting charged very slow (only 40ish % after whole night)
The battery pack is new which was installed in July 2024, so the batteries are not the problem, I think. Is the charging circuit went bad?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Update: It somehow reached to 100% charge after 1 full night and 1 full day of charging, but as soon as I cut the power and it went on backup, battery percentage instantly went to 1%, the battery charge display bar on the UPS LCD went to 0. Don't know what the problem is. Battery pack is barely 8 months old.

I suggest you submit a service request to APC Technical Support. Have ready the serial number, purchase receipt, and description of the problem.
They will more than likely ask you to complete a self test and followed by a battery calibration with at least 30% attached load.
