Hello, we have a UPS 5000 RM XL unit, where we changed the first two battery banks and runtime with our equipment is about 1 hour at 10% load. ( i assume thats about 300watts)
We have an external expantion pack with 4 battery slots:
Yes, the other half of the SURT192 is with unplugged old batteries that we removed, but i think that is OK? Or can this overload the 2 out of 4 batteries? Now when we do a runtime test it doubles up to 2h15mins which is what we need.
Extra info: With a multimeter I see behind the bLue cable that goes to the UPS feeds the Left side batteries, and the bRown cable feeds the Right side batteries. 🙂
Now my question: in the web management page UPS / general it asks how many external batteries and Batt Capacity in Amp Hours? this seems to help the UPS estimate how long it will last?
I think one pair of these RBC140(two slide-in banks) represents 1 ? and it is 5 Ah ?
Or if we fill the SURT192 completely that would be 1 or 2 batteries and 5 or 10 Ah?
