BX500CI KO and weird beep code (2 fast beeps every 30 seconds)
Hello everyone.
My APC BX500CI started to act weirdly and i disconnected it from the load, turned it off and unplugged it.
Now it keeps doing this weird beep code: 2 very fast beeps and 30 seconds of silence, also when unplugged from the mains. The only way to make it stop is to unplug the yellow fuse.
It's not possible to turn it back on.
Do I have any hope to save it, maybe replacing the battery?
Thanks.

Based on the alarms your UPS is on battery mode. This usually means that the voltage or frequency of your power is out of range or the power is distorted. I suggest check your input voltage using a voltmeter and find out the frequency and the voltage of you input.
You may also want to change your Voltage and sensitivity settings to the lower until your unit does not go on battery as often (downside is increase transfer time when switching on battery but only in milliseconds but can cause some equipment to reboot if they are sensitive to transfer time)
If the voltage is within range and you are at the lowest sensitivity you may have a faulty transfer switch or relay that is stuck on battery due to a relay weld issue and this will call for a replacement UPS instead. The unit will not be able to charge the batteries anymore since it is constantly using it to power your load.
