How does the system behave when using APC PCPE / PCSS software?!? This simple test will either affirm the unit and USB cable is performing correctly. ☝️
If the problem is NOT seen using the official APC (PCPE / PCSS) software it’s -APCUPSD.
If the APC PCPE / PCSS software behaves the same way. Move the USB cable to another port and if that corrects the problem there was a bad port.
If the problem remains change out the USB cable while ensuring the new cable is indeed a (Data & Power) cable!
If the problem goes away it was a bad cable. If the problem continues verify the USB port on the UPS is physically fine. If so then the USB port on the UPS may be defective.
You may consider using NUT instead to see if the problem goes away due to improper drivers / configuration / support.
Lastly, it goes without saying if the power management is set to energy saving better check it’s not the OS putting the USB port or anything else into sleep / turned off state.
Other considerations is if the cable is too long vs the factory cable. You can resolve this by using a powered USB HUB or active USB cable.

Already did all the tests before writing here. We bought 5 BX2200MI UPSes, and connected to the system with the cable we found in the box. With Windows (during configuring PowerChute and testing alle the 5 machines) never had the problem, so, it seems that the problem is the libusb driver used by apcupsd. I found this post in your forum, but cannot compile because the command "./configure enable-usb with-generic-usb" gives me an error that the flag "enable-usb" does not exists.

You may consider using NUT instead. 👍
