I wish to disable the chirping when there's no power and the APU is running. I don't see any USB port on the APU. The RJ cable I have (I don't know what happened to the OEM) doesn't make any difference.
Any suggestions/solutions?
Thanks

Hi,
Have you contacted local support and asked about the cable? They may send you one free as a good will gesture.

Hi,
The proper cable can be purchased at one of our resellers. Examples CDW, Amazon. The part number is AP9827. Or you could contact local support and request cable 940-0127.
The cable is USB to RJ50.

Thanks. But I just need to change the setting once (assuming it's even possible). I checked Amazon and the price is over $70 in my area. The cable costs more than a higher powered APU. At most, it should only be a few dollars.

Hello,
I inherited a BK500BLK and, although it seems to work fine, it does not have a USB port for Power Chute use. I really don't need the backup software but am curious if the unit is so old that it won't be very useful. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
R. W. Hess
