Advice for UPS for laptop
Hello all!
I need a UPS for a gaming laptop and I really don't know much about UPS or wattage or VA, but I know that I need a very reliable UPS. The specifications of the AC adapter of the laptop are Output: 19.5 V DC, 7.7 A, 150W, Input:100~240 V AC, 50/60 Hz universal.
In a couple of months I will be in Argentina, and I know for a fact that the power there is alternating current 220, and it is super unstable, low voltages are extremely common, spikes and surges are crazy. I once had all my electronic appliances wasted because I was getting 330 instead of 220 (that's what my father said using a tester). I am not really interested in prolonging the use of the laptop when there is a power outage, I want to protect the laptop from spikes, low voltages and surges. So my question is what kind of VA capacity should I look for in the UPS? Is there a UPS that comes to mind that fits my needs?
Thank you a lot!!
