I have a Backup UPS XS 900, using software version 3.0, Firmware JB0808008443. In Windows 7, on startup, I am receiving a User Account Control popup asking for permission to use PowerChute Sys Tray exe program. Not a big deal but it is a stopper for allowing Windows to complete the boot process. I turned off the sys tray notification in the Power Chute software and even though the icon does not appear in the sys tray notification area, I still receive the UAC notification. The only way to eliminate it is to set the USC to its lowest level of 'No Notifications" for any programs.
Suggestions please.
Thanks.
Gene

this will be addressed in the next release of PCPE due to the overwhelming feedback from users. the threads above explain the issue and give possible workarounds.
