I have an APC Smart UPS 1000. All the battery charge lights are on and green. The On Line light is on and green. The AVR Trim light is also on and Yellow. I attached an image of the lights
There is 2 Windows workstations and one Epson receipt printer plugged into the device.
I came into the office and there was no power being supplied to the workstations or the receipt printer. I powered the unit off and on again and power was restored. This is the second time that this has happened.
Is this an indication that the entire unit needs to be replaced?

The AVR circuit monitors and reacts to the input line voltage at the outlet. If your system is displaying a voltage (Trim) status this simply means the input voltage is too high based on the user defined setting.
Meaning it’s operating as defined and expected to protect the connected devices from a high input voltage.
You can certainly try another outlet that’s on a completely different branch circuit. You may also change the AVR upper / lower input voltages too if you feel it’s too sensitive.
Keep in mind both the AVR circuit and battery only circuitry is designed and intended to provide the cleanest and regulated power output to your connected loads. ☝️
So only adjust the AVR / Power Quality levels if you know the attached hardware are capable of handling a wider operational voltage range & dirty power.
Let me know what happens when the battery is replaced. 👍

The battery cartridge is rated for 2-5 years of service life. This is based on usage, temperature, and environmental conditions.
If the battery is within this range this is likely the cause.
When the batteries are near end of life the system will drop the connected load. When the system is in AVR mode to trim / boost the input voltage this indicates a out of band line voltage at the outlet.
When the input voltage (power) is considered dirty by the system it will go into battery only mode.
If the battery is EOL or marginal again the attached loads will be dropped / disconnected from the system.
Do not rely on the APC Self Test to determine a good battery! ☝️ By the time the Self Test is able to detect the battery is dead it’s too late.
Lastly, you can confirm what type of battery cartridge is required by selecting the LCD -> About. Which I believe yours is a RBC6.

Thanks for the response. In the past I have always relied on the "Replace Battery" light to replace the battery. I will check the battery life.
If I change the wall out into which the UPS is plugged in, could that possibly clear the AVR light?

All the lights on the unit went out on Friday. We received the replacement battery but I did not replace it until this morning. Still no lights are displayed and when I press the power button nothing happens. I have tried a different outlet and the same thing. I am guessing that the entire unit needs to be replaced.
