Re: Getting Started with SmartConnect

I am unable to register my UPS BR1500G with a ups code: 0B2418L07887,  These are the only numbers on my Device,  Please help.   I ordered my UPS  from Amazon June 24, 2024 and received it on July 5, 2024.

This UPS does not have a SmartConnect port. Can you be more specific about the instructions you are following to register your UPS, please?

The documentation that came with my UPS does not mention anything about a smart port, nor does is give any instructions how to register my UPS. Please help me, otherwise I may have to return the UPS to Amazon and purchase from another vendor/supplier

I don't understand why you don't understand that I have no idea what you are talking about a "SmartConnect port".  I purchased an APC UPS back up from Amazon Prime.  There were no legible instructions.  I did receive a document called User's Manual, but the print is so tiny I can't read it and the line drawings look nothing like the device I received.  The model I purchased was:

 

APC Back-UPS Pro 1500, Model: BR1500G, Serial #0BXXXXXXXX.

The APC UPS you purchased does (NOT) support the APC Smart Connect Cloud Portal Service! ☝️

 

If the device did support the APC Smart Connect service there would be a RJ45 Ethernet port marked with a (Green) cloud symbol!

 

There obviously isn’t one present and thus you CAN’T register / enroll. 🤦‍♂️

 

Return the unit you have now for one that clearly states it supports the APC Smart Connect Service. 👍

Not all UPSs have a green SmartConnect port. Depending on your needs, what you have could be fine.

 

I suggest that you contact support to talk through how you want to use your UPS. They'll help you find the best solution for your needs.
