ups WILL NOT go back online after the generator kicks on

sua3000rmxl3 after power goes off, and then the generator kicks on, there is a clicking chatter, the online light goes on and then off again
wont go online after several minutes of click sound every other second. Seems like it can not get in sync with my generac 15000 generator with the auto switch

what gives?
is the unit the problem? all other ups go back on line except this one

Check the sensitivity setting on the unit turn it to low
