Unfortunately APC UPS wiring diagrams are proprietary and are not published. In many cases UPS internal circuitry and components will fail but the damage will not be visible...eg relays on the circuit boards can become welded internally and not show any damage from the outside. Or there could be blown fuses that do not show external - if you use an ohm-meter these can be checked for continuity.
Good luck!
