I got new batteries for mine about 2 weeks ago. I powered it up just to check how much power the batteries had then i shut it down to install later.
Now when i power it up (even with batteries) i have to hold the power button down for a few sec. When it powers up, it stays "on battery"
It has the network card and remoting to it, it says everything is OK.
Being i dont have anything running off this ups, the battery takes a very long time to discharge.
What to troubleshoot??
TIA

Hi,
First you need to get the unit into an acceptable working environment. The Operating Elevation is 0-10000 feet (0-3000 meters) sea level on Earth. You listed your location as Mars so you are using the unit outside of the specified range.
Second, check the voltage at the source to be sure it is acceptable. The UPS will start on battery if the input voltage is not acceptable. If that is okay you should brain dead the unit and then start it. Kbase 156611 discusses the brain dead procedure.
