snmpv3 config.ini passphrase

I have like 300 snmp cards i need to configure and it is currently on version 1, i need to convert it to version 3. I was able to pull the config.ini on one of the one i set up but there's no parameter/variable for snmpv3 userprofile passphrase so i can put in the passphrase. i search google and here. Best article i got is this one. https://community.se.com/t5/EcoStruxure-IT-forum/bd-p/ecostruxure-it-forum

It state of usage on UserProfile1AuthPhrase and UserProfile1EncryptPhrase, which i tried but did a test connection and it failed. Does anyone knows what the variable/parameter is?

Hmm. thanks you for hte confirmation and suggestions. I just checked and it seems to apply correctly but that particular card is having issue, even when i did it manually. I tried it on two other cards and i was able to push out the configure via iniutil.exe and able to add to the network management program.

Thank you.

Are you doing this with our StruxureWare Data Center Expert tool or outside with only the config.ini file and our INI push utility/script (or your own script)?

If you have our StruxureWare tool, you can follow the instructions here: http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA158442

If you're doing it manually, you could check the event log and config.ini to make sure your modifications took. I assume what you meant you did is you modified the SNMPv3 parameters as explained in the config.ini:

; To change the User Profile Auth Phrase, or the
; User Profile Encrypt Phrase, use the UserProfile#AuthPhrase, or
; UserProfile#EncryptPhrase keywords respectively where # is
; the number of the profile. i.e., UserProfile1EncryptPhrase=apc crypt passphrase

Then, you uploaded a config.ini to a device and tried to query it via SNMPv3 and it didn't work? You'd want to make sure all of the SNMPv3 credentials are set properly - access is enabled, read/write permissions are aligned with the right encryption/authentication phrases, access control IP/hostnames are correct, etc.
