Going crazy trying to find instructions to what should be a simple problem.
I have PCNS v4.2 running as a virtual appliance in my vmware cluster. I have 2 hosts that are connected to it and configured. I just added a third host and cannot remember what/how software gets installed on the host!
I seem to remember using a USB stick to install a small piece of software (hosts are booting to a microSD card and sharing a SAN), but i have no idea where to go find this info. I've been looking through documentation and Schneider YouTube videos for hours.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, Power Chute is fully configured with the vCenter Server and the original 2 hosts. Those 2 original hosts and the new one show up in the Power Chute web page, and I've already dragged the new host (192.168.1.11) over to the right side. I can't believe it's that easy as a simple migrate VM's and restart. I remember having to jump through hoops to change the IP address of the APC software on the console of the ESXi hosts??
I'll run through the documentation you linked to and confirm.
Thanks again for the reply.

Hi,
Is PowerChute configured to communicate with vCenter Server? If so to add the host to be shutdown open the PowerChute web page. Go to Host Protection and the new host that has been added to the vCenter Server should appear in the left panel. Drag it to the right panel to add it as a protected host. It will then be powered down along with the other hosts.
If you need assistance adding the host to vCenter review this link https://4sysops.com/archives/how-to-add-an-esxi-6-5-host-to-vcenter-server-vcsa-6-5/ There are also youtube videos on adding host the vCenter.
