Legacy Software Requesting Update After Battery Change
Ive encountered a strange issue. We have a legacy application server running windows 2003 Sp2.
We have Power Chute Bussines Edition installed version 7.0.4. Link to a SMART UPS 750 XL
This system has functioned flawless for many years but has recently required a battery change. The Power Chute is now refusing to operate without connecting to APC update server. This system has no Internet connectivity and we have no wish to provide connectivity.
Dose anyone have any idea why a battery change would have forced this behavior and if there is any way to by pass this check.
