pcns 4.2: cannot reach port 5480

hi,

sorry to open another post, but i have another problem:

i read that with https://ip-adress:5480 i can reach configuration site of the pcns appliance, for example to change hostname or ip-adress.

but when i try to enter the site via browser, no matter which one i use (internet expplore,r firefox, chrome9, i always get  ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT 

when i deployed the appliance, i used the console to set ip adress, etc, then startet a yum update in the console and then directly went to https:/ip-adress:6547 to configure. i never tried port 5480 so i cannot tell if this port ever worked.

what is the problem? should i reisntall the appliance?

Hi,

With the latest release of the PowerChute Appliance for VMware the utility that opened port 5480 and allowed configuration changes is not available. Support for the utility was discontinued by VMware and therefore we were unable to incorporated in the releases.
