new AP9631 in "old" Matrix 5000

We have yet to purchase the monitoring card.

The firmware of the MATRIX is "5ZI"
(manufacture Date: 04/08/03)

If someone could advise on the comptability with the AP9631 I would appretiate it.

keep in mind the matrix has been discontinued for some time. the AP9630 or AP9631 should support the matrix, as the AP9617 does but it was not officially tested since it has been discontinued. the code for it was copied over from the AP9617 though so I would advise you that it should be compatible but if you run into issues, we may not be able to fix any problems with it as we would with a currently manufactured UPS.
