We wish to have a hardware device monitor our server room and be able to initiate a shutdown of the servers if the temperature exceeds a certain value (just like network shutdown can do with a UPS with an environmental card)
I notice the APC NetBotz range, but don't think it does what we want.
thanks

i dont think any of our Netbotz or environmental devices can do this honestly. Powerchute Network shutdown is only compatible with UPS Network Management Cards. the only solution I'd see is using one and then using dry contacts on an environmental device to signal the network management card to shutdown the PCNS clients.
not sure if anyone else has any ideas..
