Hello all,
I have inherited a matix 3000 and an old verison of powerchute. My question is this can i access any information from the serial port? the accesories slot is empty. Thanks for any help

Yes you can, but the version/type of software you can use will be limited by the Matrix's firmware revision, which can be found in the UPS info/status menu on the display. Rev. Z is the only version compatible with PCBE, other versions are only compatible with PowerChute Plus (much older version of the software).

Ok, This matrix has rev "ZI". I tryed to use the troubleshooting guide that came with powerchute plus (using hyper terminal and the settings stated), but still got no responce.
