As title,
since modern power supply use Active PFC and this power supply doesn't like the simulated sinewave of the PowerSaving series,
I'm evaluating the possibility to buy a SmartUPS for PC use.
Is there someone here who use a smart ups for pc use?
Do you think that buy a smart ups for a home pc is a smart choice?

Smart 750 is quite small for my configuration, 1000VA should be good but I don't want to overkill too much,
I would like to have a pure sinewave but I really don't need the extended battery and net functionalities of the Smart series.
I like the green mode of newer smart series, high efficiency is really much appreciated. 99% of efficiency is a wow result.
is your ups loud? does it have fan?

Hi,
I use a Smart 750 at home. I wanted s pure sinewave UPS because my older BR1000 series wasnt sinewave and my power supply used to make a mild humming/hizzing sound.
With the smart 750 I have no problems at all.
The thing that run off my smart ups are
PC
24inch LCD
Modem
Wifi Router
