I am trying to upgrade the firmware for my Network Management Card in a Smart-UPS 2200XL-RM.
When I run the Device IP Configuration utility, it finds both my UPS devices with no issue.
It shows as having aos f/w rev apc_hw02_aos_361. I just downloaded the latest firmware update and ran it and
In the firmware upgrade utility, it pings successful and device connection passes but I keep getting an FTP login failed.
What am I missing? Was there somewhere for me to set up an FTP login?

If FTP ports are blocked on your computer or network this could be a problem or if you've disabled FTP on the NMC. There is a setting for FTP server enabled/disabled and port in the management card. Via the web, Administration->Network->FTP.
Here is the article on upgrading firmware. You could try it manually and see if it works.
