i've been searching through lots of documentation and can't find a solid answer to this,
what battery count should i put in powerchute for my ups?,
i've got a SU3000RMXLI3U with one SU48RMXLBP3U,
with a the total PBC27 battery pack count of three.
i've got this set to 2 at the moment, as i've seen "discount the ups internal pack", is this correct??
thanks
Matt

Thanks for the quick reply,
If its there in the manual, I didn't see it!!
i've set it to 1 pack now, but i'm still curious....

*Note: A SU48RMXLBP is a large capacity battery. It is equivalent to
two standard external batteries; therefore, for each SU48RMXLBP input 2 (two)
batteries.
so this does not apply in my case??
Thanks

If needed, you can adjust the battery count easily with a basic terminal emulator. (Such as HyperTerm or PuTTY in windoze)
Here's how:

It should be set for "1". You discount the internal pack, yes, but you count an external battery pack as one. You do not count per RBC27 module, just per battery pack. The manual for the battery pack (quickly) covers this in one of the examples provided.
