To connect to Schneider Electric cloud services, the UPS needs to be able to connect directly to TCP port 443 on lwm2m.na.struxurewarecloud.com AKA 52.179.127.30. If the network of the UPS is behind a proxy server (e.g. ZScaler), you must add a firewall rule that permits this connection to TCP port 443, and bypasses any proxy service packet inspection.
If you view the SmartConnect status via the UPS LCD panel you will see the connection status.
If the status is contacting check the firewall as stated above.
If the status is securing check that the firewall and proxy server on the network of the UPS does not have TLS packet inspection enabled.
If the status is connecting restart the network connection.
