Hi all,
I just got a new server and a new smart UPS.
I connected the UPS using Serial.
I installed the latest PowerChute to setup the controls.
However when entering the http://127.0.0.1:3025/
I get asked to install an ActiveX tool. So when I choose to do so Windows is still blocking the ActiveX
So I cannot enter powerchute.
I already entered http://127.0.0.1 into the trusted sites section of IE.
I also allowed all ActiveX things in the advanced options.
I disabled the IE ESC
And still I cannot run the freaking ActiveX
At this point I am getting nuts and really wish to get this installed soon
Can you help me out please?
Best
BJ

Have you tried downloading and installing PowerChute 9.0? It's a 105Mb download but it might help.

I am using PowerChute 8,5 which was delivered with the UPS.
And I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Foundation Edition, English, 64 Bits
I Just uninstalled PowerChute 8,5 and installed an older version (8.1)
But this could not even detect the UPS, so I installed 8,5 again.
