What's the difference between these external packs?

I currently have several SURT6000RMXL units with varying numbers of SURT192XLBP external battery packs. I'm considering replacing one of my units that is pretty loaded with a 10kVA model, but it says it uses SURT192XLBP2 external packs. Is there a difference between the XLBP & XLBP2 models, or can I use my old packs with new batteries? They both take the RBC140 cartridge.

Ah, ok. The SRT10KRMXLT30 is a next generation product which uses intelligent battery packs with embedded communications. These units require the new smart battery packs and cannot be used with legacy SURT battery packs. The SRT10KRMXLT30 is only compatible with the SRT192RMBP2 battery pack.
