What process to follow to replace faulty batteries in SM3000RMI2U
hey guys,
Just trying to confirm the process to replace a set of faulty batteries in a SM3000RMI2U.
Should we put the unit into bypass mode before removing the battery tray, or is it okay to just disconnect the battery and remove it (without putting the unit into bypass)
This unit has critical IT load attached which needs to be kept running during the battery replacement so really dont want to get this wrong ๐

Our UPS do have hot swappable batteries. As long as the UPS is not on a fault state you should be fine replacing the batteries. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, I suggest that you schedule a downtime prior to replacing the batteries to be on the safe side.
