Using an APC Smart UPS 2000 battery pack with an APC Smartups 2200XL?

Can a Smart UPS 2000 battery pack be used with an APC Smartups 2200XL? I know the plugs are different, however, they are both 48 volt. If there's an adapter or replacement connector I could purchase, that would be helpful.

Could you provide the model number of the battery pack please? An adapter might be available.

as far as I know, the old SUXX series External Battery Packs(SUXX) can not be attached to the current SUA2200XL UPS. There is no adapter available from APC in order to attache the old external battery packs to the current Smart UPS SUA series.

These are the only adapters available. If you're trying to connect it to an SUA unit, like Techie said, it won't work. SU037 will let you connect AP to SU though...
